Every so often I think of some silly domain name that I feel would be an amazing web site, so I buy it ( I own over a hundred including such gems as, “ireallyloveuranus.com” and “peoplewhoarefullofshit.com”) and begin building a web site that I either never finish or never return to. Often times this is just a simple WordPress install that I am sure I will use as a blogging site and blog all about how I have nothing to blog about.
So here I am. Again.
you can force yourself to make it all about you.
Me
This time I was inspired to try again after seeing a YouTube video about deleting all social media accounts and creating your own web site to use as a replacement. This way instead of just reacting to other people’s word or images, you can force yourself to make it all about you. I like this because I don’t really use social media. A couple times a month I will log in, quickly scroll through everything and feel like I’m all caught up. Most of what I see are memes or reposts of memes or reposts of some ridiculous “life hack”.

The reason I have never been one for blogging or journaling is that I really don’t have anything to say. At least nothing that I find very interesting. I used to be much more active in the outdoors, or reading, or generally leaving the house. Not so much these days, in fact my other inspiration for this blog was because I had one of those amazing days that you just want to share. It wasn’t anything exciting, I didn’t actually do anything, it was just one of those pleasant days we occasionally get. Yes, I will be sure to retro post about it. I’ll probably write about several past adventures or fun I have had, just because I enjoyed them so much.
Also, I am an incessant user of Amazon. I browse it like it was the Sears Christmas Catalog of 1985. Page after page of glorious happiness being delivered like magic. One of my previous attempts at a blog was to cover all the Amazon purchases – some great, almost life changing…some broken wishes in a carboard box.
We’ll see how long this lasts. The technical part is what I enjoy so there will bound to be changes and tweaks to keep me busy for a while at least. Hopefully something exciting will also happen worth sharing.
